What to Expect
Your success is our goal. We are committed to ensuring that your staff here will help make your business there prosper.
Working with your offshore staff will require some adjustment and it helps to understand some of the adjustments before you decide to proceed.
- Manila is 14 hours ahead of USA CDT time. This means that at 5:00PM CDT, it is 7:00AM in the Philippines. Most of our clients reply to emails and communicate between 5:00PM CDT and 7:00PM CDT.
- Communication and planning are important so budget a little more time for that.
- Be prepared to provide a greater level of detail in your communications than you would to someone physically present in your office.
- If you desire, you can trust your contractor to work professionally directly with your clients, as any of your staff would in your office.
- Some areas in the Philippines experience occasional rolling electrical blackouts and intermittent internet connections that last for one day during typhoon season (usually starts around June/July). When this happens, your staff will schedule a make-up day, or if work is critical, a peer can supplement the work for the day at no extra cost.
